The Board of Trustees have an active role in monitoring and determining strategy for all aspects of Discovery MAT's performance. Trustees are governed by the 'constitution' of the Academy Trust, the Articles of Association (see below) specifying the objects, powers, composition of the Trustees and how they conduct business.

Discovery Multi Academy Trust has a central Local Advisory Board (LAB) that operates across all three of our academies, allowing the LAB to have greater scope for comparison, challenge and enabling effective sharing of good practice at school level. The LAB will review and monitor all aspects of teaching and learning in our academies, to ensure the best outcomes for all our children.
